as the post says.

this summer i'm goin' to shoot a little five minutes movie about the guys shooting each other in front of a church.

the reason for the church is because i found this very good looking church near my father's farm. it's very modern and well constructed so it will be perfect for a blodbath scene.

The movie is actually a combination of John Woo and Peter Jackson. In fact, when the guys end their bullets they start fightin each other with axes and knifes.

Do you thinks this is a good movie idea?

I dunno what kind of "movie" it would make, but it'd be a great scene, and I'd definetely want to see it...axes and knives? YES!

well, we have a man who brings a little suitcase to another man. in the suitcase there's supposed to be a kilo of cocaine but there's an axe and a strange knive. it's half knive and half gun (i'll get a pic on web of it soon...).
the guy is really pissed off and start shooting to the other guy.
the other guy, of course, has a gun as well and they start shooting each other untill they end bullets (they shoot to the priest as well, wich will be played by myself). then the guy with the suitcase launch the knife to the other guy. he miss him....

and that's it, for all. i'll try to get more and make a webpage wich will contains my previous movies.

So what exactly are the circumstances around these two 'tards going at each other in front of a church?

i'm trying to envision this and i'm divided... on one hand, anything with guns, knives AND axes is totally wicked awesome. but a half-gun half-knife? don't get me wrong, but that's possibly one of the dumbest things i've ever heard.

First off is this an experiment film? If so I say go for it.

I wouldn't ask us what we think, I would just make it.

Working on any movie...you will gain experience. Good or Bad. While the premise sounds bizarre to me and there have been a few sarcastic comments made here, I would still do it. Try angles that you wouldn't normally do. Try cutting quicker in post. My shots during an action short usually only end up being :20-3 seconds in length. After the dust clears [img]wink.gif[/img] , see what you have. What worked what didn't?

If however you plan on making a film that is being released to the public eitheir through T.V or a festival, I'd go back to the drawing board.

to me, everything made with no professional equipment is experiment.

i'm trying to make a very fast editing, like the ones in "Hard Boiled" or "El Mariachi". Plus with a lot of splatter. Juts this...

the half-gun half-knive thing is a strange prop i bought in egypt. it's acually a KNIVE but it got a gun handle. anyway, it doesn't shoot, it's just a curious thing. [img]cool.gif[/img]
